About Project

The project involved the design review, importation coordination, site assembly and commissioning of a GRP sectional water storage tank system for an industrial facility in Tarlac.

The client required a reliable bulk water-storage solution that could be installed efficiently on site, provide long-term corrosion resistance, and support the facility’s operational water requirements. A modular GRP tank was selected due to its strength, low maintenance requirements, ease of transport, and suitability for above-ground installation.

The project covered the complete delivery cycle—from engineering review and tank sizing to importation support, on-site assembly, interconnection works, testing, and turnover. The completed tank now serves as a dedicated water-storage facility for the site’s domestic and utility-water requirements.

Our Client’s Challenge

The client required a water-storage system that could be installed within the site’s available footprint while meeting the required storage volume, structural stability, and long-term serviceability.

The project also involved several practical challenges:

Our Approach And Solution

Solcrest reviewed the site requirements, target storage capacity, available footprint, support arrangement, and service application before finalizing the tank configuration.

A modular GRP sectional tank system was selected to provide flexibility in transport, ease of site assembly, and durability under local operating conditions. Solcrest coordinated the importation of tank panels, structural accessories and connection components, while also ensuring compatibility with the civil foundation and piping provisions prepared on site.

The project scope covered:

Throughout the assembly works, close attention was given to panel alignment, uniform tightening, gasket integrity, and proper installation of bracing members to ensure the structural stability and leak-tightness of the tank.

Project Outcome

The GRP sectional water-storage tank was successfully assembled, tested and commissioned within the planned project schedule.

The completed installation provided the client with a durable and space-efficient above-ground storage system suitable for continuous water service. The modular design also allowed efficient transport and on-site erection while maintaining a professional and orderly installation.

Following leak testing and commissioning checks, the tank was placed into service and integrated into the facility’s water system. The project demonstrated Solcrest’s capability to deliver end-to-end water-storage solutions, covering design coordination, importation, assembly, installation support and final commissioning.
