About Project

The project involved the design coordination, importation, installation, and commissioning of a GRP sectional water tank system for a high-rise condominium development in Metro Manila.

The client required a reliable water-storage solution that could meet the domestic and utility demands of the residential building while fitting within the structural and space limitations of the designated service area. A modular GRP tank system was selected because of its durability, corrosion resistance, lighter installation characteristics, and flexibility for assembly in constrained building environments.

Solcrest provided the complete implementation package—from tank sizing and installation planning to import coordination, site assembly, connection works, testing, and final turnover. The completed installation now serves as an integral component of the building’s water-storage and distribution system.

Our Client’s Challenge

The condominium project required a water-storage system that could provide sufficient reserve capacity while complying with the limitations of a high-rise building installation.

The project involved several practical and technical challenges:

The client therefore required a contractor capable of handling the project from design coordination through final commissioning.

Our Approach And Solution

Solcrest reviewed the storage requirement, installation location, available footprint, access conditions, and service application before finalizing the proposed tank configuration.

A GRP sectional panel tank was selected as the most suitable solution for the project because it allowed modular delivery and assembly while maintaining the required storage capacity and durability. Solcrest coordinated the imported tank components with the local structural supports, civil provisions, and piping interfaces to ensure an efficient installation sequence.

The project scope covered:

Throughout the installation, careful attention was given to panel alignment, tightening sequence, gasket integrity, and support stability to ensure the long-term performance of the tank system.

Project Outcome

The GRP sectional water tank system was successfully installed, tested, and commissioned within the approved project schedule.

The completed installation provided the condominium development with a dependable and space-efficient water-storage system suitable for long-term domestic and utility service. The modular GRP configuration also allowed efficient delivery and assembly within the constrained building environment, while maintaining a clean and professional final installation.

Following water-fill testing and commissioning checks, the tank was integrated into the building’s water distribution system and prepared for operational use. The project demonstrated Solcrest’s capability to deliver complete water-storage solutions for residential and commercial developments, covering design coordination, importation, installation, testing, and commissioning.
